Mock Trial

 Training Seminar

Just like a real trial, but it doesn't go into your score book.

This is the perfect opportunity for handlers to see if they are ready for a real trial.

Our goal is to simulate, as close as possible, the workings and judging of a trial.

All levels may be presented BH, SchH1, SchH2, SchH3.

For this trial, Jerry Kenwick will be our distinguished judge. 

Registrations must be received by phone no later than Friday, Sept 3, 2010.

Saturday, Sept 4 - Mock Trial Schedule:

Check-in will begin at 7:00AM at Dave and Kathy's property. 

We will caravan from Dave & Kathy's property at 7:30AM to Milky Way Park.

The entry fee for the Mock trial is $30.

Monday, September 6, 2010.  .

What is included?

The seminar will consist of tracking, obedience, and two sessions of bite work per dog per day.     This is an excellent opportunity to polish up your performance for fall trials or just move your training program forward with expert assistance.  Multiple certified helpers will be present for the seminar.   Expert trainers will be on hand to assist with problem solving. 

The seminar will focus primarily on training Schutzhund-type work. Although personal protection dogs are welcome.  Trainers who are only interested in obedience or tracking are also welcome.

Who can attend?

The seminar is open to novice, intermediate and advanced trainers.  Beginners are also welcome.

What is the schedule?

Sunday

We will meet at the tracking grounds at 7:30AM. When we return from tracking, we will start obedience.

Lunch will begin at Noon.  

After the CGC's we will get back to Schutzhund obedience.   Once we are finished with obedience, we will move onto protection.

Monday

The same schedule as Sunday.

How Much?

$75 per day  
$55 per day for Law Enforcement. 

Lunch is $5.00.  BYOB.

What about Hotels and Camping?

Areas at the training grounds will be designated for primitive campers for no extra charge.  There are hotels in Harvard.  Click here for available lodging in the area.

Kennels are available during the seminar, all we ask is that you clean up after your dog.
